What is a Showing Service?

A showing service is a tool that allows you to manage the scheduling of a property tour. While there are many different showing services in the real estate industry, with varying features, showing services generally allow listing agents to specify when and how their listings can be shown, and enable buyer’s agents to submit online requests to arrange a date and time to view a property.

UtahRealEstate.com has integrations with showing service providers, as listed below, which further streamlines showings by allowing users to submit showing appointment requests directly from listings within the MLS (example of “Schedule a Showing” button below).

Showing Software Options Available on the MLS

The showing software providers listed below are currently integrated into the UtahRealEstate.com MLS system, which means a “Schedule a Showing” button will appear on your listing in the MLS if you choose to use one of these providers, allowing buyer’s agents to then click that button to submit a showing appointment request:

• Aligned Showings: This is URE’s member benefit product that is offered at no additional cost with your MLS membership. This product features complete online showing management using the desktop MLS, along with companion mobile applications available in the Apple and Google Play App stores.

• Showing Time: This product is owned by the Zillow Group and features online showing management using the Desktop MLS, as well as companion mobile applications. ShowingTime also offers additional services that may require paid subscriptions.
